I’m a trained and certified business strategist, analytics guru, retreat facilitator, and professional developer.
Based in South Lake Tahoe California, Tawni is the founder of two successful companies both dedicated to thoughtful planning.
Pomegranate Consulting, is a consultancy agency dedicated to helping businesses, organizations, and individuals pursue their passions with a plan. For over 18 years she helped executive leaders within Fortune 100 companies with analysis, strategy, and delivery on their business initiatives and new organizational launches. She has also helped over 100 high performing individuals reach their next level of success with executive coaching, personal branding & story telling, and presentational needs.
Pomegranate Occasions, is an event planning agency dedicated to helping individuals and businesses enjoy the art of gathering.
Her success lies in her ability to partner, listen, analyze, and lead with passionate, driven individuals. Her core belief is that personal change and increased leadership capacity comes from thoughtful intention, strategic planning, and confident action. Supporting others with structured consultation, challenging mindsets, and taking structured risks are a critical piece to her expertise. She loves this work because she feels compelled to solve big problems.
Tawni received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Chico with an emphasis on Human Resources Management and Managing Information Systems. She received her Master in Business Administration with an emphasis on Decision Sciences and a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis on Public Policy. She is also a firm believer and graduate of the School of Life; that learning and knowledge doesn’t just come from textbooks and lectures, but from the experiences, risks, and challenges that individuals choose to take on or adapt from.
She is a world traveler who has spent time in over 20 countries, an honored mom to two beautiful girls, a lucky wife to a husband who is a killer cook and ultimate handyman, and a passionate problem solver who loves the rush of helping entrepreneurs, small business owners, non profits, and career driven individuals visualize and enact their purpose. When not consulting others, she enjoys simple things like the outdoors; hiking, biking, beaching (it should be a verb), yoga, painting, reading, dining, and dancing.
Pomegranate Consulting creates a bridge between your professional dreams and your future reality. It does this by providing structure, organization, analysis, planning, and professional development for you to envision your future and understand the steps to get there.

What’s with the name Pomegranate?
First, because they are amazing and beautiful! They have a tough skin (needed for this type of work) but when opened they reveal countless beautifully, meticulously packed seeds. This is the sense of amazement I strive for.
Second, because pomegranates have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I had pomegranate trees in our yard growing up and pomegranate t-shirts (plain white t-shirts) that were used as me and my siblings who would eat and battle with our pomegranate seeds. I always enjoy a good pomegranate, and even more so when they are made into wine or jelly by my Dad.
